I am an experienced counsellor with over fifteen years’ experience. I have worked as a staff counsellor with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and other Government departments. I have significant experience working as a counsellor in the private sector with several United Kingdom Employee Assistance Providers (EAPs). My counselling experience includes working in a GP surgery, counselling with the Liverpool Young Person’s Advisory Service (YPAS) and online counselling. I supervise trainee counsellors and have been involved in running various therapy-related workshops. My approach is to establish a therapeutic relationship with my clients and to provide a safe, confidential, respectful and non-judgemental environment that is conducive to exploring the issues which they face. Counselling provides you with an opportunity to talk confidentially about your feelings, enhance self-awareness and work towards a more satisfying and fulfilling life. I aim to provide a supportive environment where clients can feel safe enough to explore their problems. Each counselling session is unique and is tailored to the requirements of each individual client. Sessions last approximately 50 minutes; the number and frequency of sessions is entirely up to you.
