Biography

I have a Master’s degree in psychotherapy and I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I work in a private practice setting seeing clients of all ages with a diverse range of issues both within the United Kingdom and other countries. My experience working both nationally and internationally enables me to work effectively with clients from a broad range of backgrounds. There are no barriers in my counselling practice and I work with clients from all ethnic, social and cultural backgrounds. I am experienced in dealing with stresses related to life in the corporate world and I work with several Employee Assistance Programmes such as British Gypsum, Cruse and Victims support, Schools Advisory Service (Advent) and Red Arc. Further information can be found on my website, www.indabacounselling.co.uk should you wish to read more about the way I work.

Approach to treatment

I utilise a person centred approach and work collaboratively with clients to facilitate the development of self-awareness in order to find insights and solutions that are unique and empowering for the individual. Taking the first step to seek counselling can be a daunting experience and it is important that you feel safe and comfortable with your therapist. I am here to help you with any issues you may find challenging. Perhaps you have a sense that you “just don’t want to feel this way anymore.” If it matters to you, it is a valid issue for sharing in counselling. As we work together you will see there will be a more optimistic, confident and happier future for you.
