I have varied expereince working in the mental health sector. I have worked as a counsellor and psychotherapist in settings such as the primary care sector, community settings and in private practice. I provide individual, couple/marriage therapy, family counselling and psychotherapy. I provide a safe, non-judgmental service where clients can explore and work through their emotional or life difficulties. I assist clients through their journey of self-discovery, self-realisation, self-awareness and acceptance. Therapy enables clients gain sustainable strategies and skills which can be used to maintain optimal mental health and well-being long after therapy has been completed. In order to assist clients in the most effective way possible, I strive to work with clients in a collaborative manner. I apply several approaches during therapy such as Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Solution Focused therapy, Integrative therapy, Systemic and Family therapy, Person-centred therapy and Psychodynamic therapy plus Mindfulness.
