Prior to becoming a counsellor, I previously worked as a producer, director, researcher and head of department for a television company. I have also worked as a secondary school teacher and I am currently a lecturer on two therapy courses. I trained as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist at the University of Bristol. The field of Counselling and psychotherapy has always been of interest since my teenage years and that is why I embarked on this new career later in my life. In my spare time, I participate in activities such as writing, running, spirituality, film, television and reading. I am registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and I have significant experience working online with clients in the United Kingdom and from other parts of the world. I utilise an integrative and focusing oriented approach to therapy. In addition to talk therapies I also utilise creative techniques during therapy such as creative writing and contemplative methods.
