Hi, my name is Monica and I am a BACP and UKCP registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I have experience dealing with difficulties such as relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, childhood issues, loneliness and the search for life’s meaning and purpose. I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which to explore these issues. My style is to work relationally and creatively and I can utilise a variety of psychotherapeutic techniques depending on the needs of the client.

Approach to treatment
I work to integrate body, mind and feelings in order to assist clients in reaching their full potential. My core training is Psychosynthesis but I work in an integrative way and draw on all major theories. I am also an EMDR practitioner.
I currently work in Private Practice, in the Occupational Health Deptartment of a major public company, Mind and Psychosynthesis Trust
I have experience in providing therapy for stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, family and childhood issues, bereavement, finding meaning and purpose, work issues, intrusive thoughts, OCD, borderline personality, self-image and face-blindness.
I have a Masters in Psychotherapy
