Biography

I qualified as a counsellor/psychotherapist in 2008. Prior to this I was an academic in the field of immunology. I decided to leave this field and train as a counsellor around the year 2000. Being a counsellor has been very rewarding and I now run a successful face to face practice in Leeds. I work with young as well as elderly clients, straight and gay clients, male and female. I have experience dealing with issues such as personal trauma, depression, anxiety and clients who wish to discover themselves. I also work with couples using the Imago approach of Harville Hendrix. I currently teach counselling at a local college and in my spare time I enjoy reading and playing the guitar.
