Biography

I worked as a professional musician for 18 years before making the transition to counselling and psychotherapy in 2001. In the process of training to become a counsellor, I worked in several mental health roles assisting those with learning disabilities and various mental health issues. I have more than 12 years’ experience in the field of mental health and I have worked in both the private and public mental health setting. My approach to therapy is integrative which means I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of my clients. I also utilise a psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural approach to therapy.
