Biography

I am a BACP accredited therapist with professional qualifications in Psychodynamic Therapeutic counselling. I have over fourteen years’ experience and I provide support for people using short-term focused counselling sessions and longer-term psychotherapy. I offer a confidential, supportive and safe space where trust can develop. I have worked with people in a variety of settings, including doctors' surgeries, schools and colleges, a young citizen’s project, the youth offending team, a counselling centre for young people and a women's counselling centre. I worked in a National Children's charity as a Project Manager for seven years and my duties involved assessing children's needs, working with the school, family and the supporting services. I was also responsible for a team of counsellor's and their supervision.
