Biography

I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist and I have significant experience working in a diverse range of settings. I have worked as a counsellor in a group medical practice, a natural health centre and a London conservatoire. I obtained an MSc in integrative psychotherapy from the Metanoia institute in London. I am also a qualified musician and hold a Master’s degree in education. I provide supervision sessions for other therapists and I am also qualified to provide therapeutic work for children and young people. I work with clients in a collaborative manner utilising elements of mindfulness and Cognitive behavioural therapy in my practice. How long a client remains in therapy varies enormously. Some clients present with a specific issue which is dealt with relatively quickly while others may be in therapy for longer as they have a desire to alter well established patterns. I view therapy as a means of helping you to experience life more fully which includes satisfying and nurturing relationships, confident self-expression and deciding the course of your future. I provide therapy for individuals and couples of all ages. I offer face to face, telephone and online counselling and psychotherapy.
